Margo Tschetter Julius

Margo Julius was born in Bismarck, North Dakota on September 19, 1966. In 1988, she graduated from the University of South Dakota with a BS degree majoring in Criminal Justice Studies. She recieved her JD from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1991. Margo began her law practice as a law clerk for the Federal District Court, Western Division, before entering private practice in 1993.

For the past twelve years, Margo has represented primarily injured people in workers' compensation, personal injury, and Social Security Disability cases. She has handled cases before the Social Security Administration, South Dakota Department of Labor, State Circuit Courts, the South Dakota Supreme Court, United States District Court, Western Division, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Margo is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG), and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, where she served two terms on the Board of Governors from 1999 to 2003. She currently serves on the Disciplinary Board for the State Bar of South Dakota.

Margo and her husband John have three children. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Zonta Club of the Black Hills (since 1995) and Youth and Family Services (since 1996).
 
Michael J. Simpson

Mike Simpson was born in Gregory, South Dakota on August 4, 1967. He graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota in 1989 and from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1992. He worked as a Legal Services attorney on an Indian Reservation in northeastern Nebraska before relocating to Rapid City, South Dakota in 1995.

Since beginning private practice in 1995, Mike has represented primarily injured people in workers' compensation, personal injury, and Social Security Disability cases. He has handled cases before the Social Security Administration, South Dakota Department of Labor, State Circuit Courts, the South Dakota Supreme Court, United States District Court, Western Division, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Mike is a member of the State Bar of South Dakota, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives, the Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group, and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on the Board of Directors of the South Dakota State Bar Workers' Compensation Section since September of 2004. He has served as the President of the Board of Directors of Western Resources for Disabled Independence, a Rapid City organization assisting disabled persons, since August of 2005. He also volunteers for Junior Achievement of South Dakota.

Mike and his wife Lori have three children.
